Bobby Jo Valentine is an award-winning, energetic, friendly singer/songwriter with powerful, catchy, uplifting songs reminiscent of Dashboard Confessional mixed with Jack Johnson.  His music is a blend of melodic indie folk-pop with honest, powerful lyrics and catchy choruses. His songs have won numerous awards including "Song of the Year" for West Coast Songwriters and has received radio airplay around the world.  

Recognized as Songwriter of the Year by the West Coast Songwriter’s Association, Bobby Jo has a talent for writing songs that reflect real life struggles and challenges while maintaining an optimistic message. Powerful and poetically charged, Bobby Jo’s music always sends a message of hope. In August of 2011, a song from the album, “Fly” won Song of the Year at West Coast Songwriter’s Association.

Bursting with energy at times and filled with uplifting, honest messages about hope and life’s struggles, Bobby continues to gather new listeners with every show. Bobby Jo is an influential part of the LGBT community, even performing as a headliner at San Diego Pride 2013.
