Poetic Singer Songwriter

Dan Henig’s tracks evoke the radio friendliness and sing-along-ability of mainstream music stars John Mayer and Sara Barailles. But listen deeper and you’ll find behind the euphonious hooks a lyrical depth – and at times darkness more suggestive of Leonard Cohen, one of Dan’s influences.

Dan was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan, but spent six of his childhood years in The U.K. where he discovered his passion for music. Dan has recently returned to his roots, releasing his remarkable self-titled EP and touring across the Midwest.

Above all else, Dan loves creating distinctive and unforgettable original music.

He’d choose writing songs and playing his guitar over anything else, and his commitment and talent shine through. Along with his commitment to his art, Dan has a unique ability to remain accessible without “selling out” to fully embrace the poetic depth of songwriting while giving his audience an ironic wink. He is a versatile performer who encourages audience participation and spontaneity, delivering performances that are fresh and relevant.
