Edgy Stand Up Comedy​

Prashanth began his career at the age of 17, making his debut performance in the basement of a friend’s house in front of six friends. After quickly rising through the ranks in Chicago, Prashanth went on to perform at world renowned comedy clubs such as New York Comedy Club, Stand Up New York, The Comic Strip, Zanies, and The Improv, all before he was old enough to get into them!

With material covering an expansive range of his suburban roots, quick­witted banter about social conventions, the political atmosphere, racial tensions, with an added pinch of adolescent sarcasm, Prashanth is able to strike a chord that resonates with all audience members during his show.
 

There’s no question that Prashanth’s comedy is raucous. It’s rabble­rousing, it’s the comedic equivalent of yelling “FIRE!” in a crowded theater – except legal and hilarious. After years of performing at colleges and clubs for audiences as small as three and as large as 3500, Prashanth’s act has become something of an event and his performance has something entertainers his age rarely exhibit: gumption.
